<p>The climbing guidebook "Arrampicare in Svizzera" (Climbing in Switzerland) has not been available for some time. The author of the new edition, which is now also available in German, is Matteo della Bordella, who continues the work of Aristide Quaglia and Fulvia Mangili in a competent manner. The new guidebook contains the most important and best-known climbing areas in Switzerland. Both multi-pitch routes and baseclimbs in various climbing gardens are described, with the difficulty of the routes ranging from medium to the highest grades. </p> <p>Matteo della Bordella has repeated many of the routes described and can therefore draw on his own experience. In addition, friends and locals provided him with detailed and new information about routes and climbing areas. The Wendenstöcke and the Rätikon, which are among his favorite areas, play a significant role. Previously unknown and very beautiful routes are described in detail for the first time in this comprehensive selection guide. As in other guides in this series, the climbing stories of their protagonists are not neglected.
