From 1915 to 1918, Italian and Austrian troops faced each other in bloody battles in the Dolomites. Today, traces of these battles have largely been erased. Only the supply routes to the front still exist.</p> <p>These trails offer mountain bikers an almost inexhaustible field of activity. This book describes some of the most spectacular mountain bike routes in the Alps. But at the same time, the "Dynamite Trails" project is a search for traces and tells the story of a war without precedent.</p> <p>Volume 1 describes the excellent mountain bike routes along the front sections of Sesto, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Marmolada, Val di Fassa, Valsugana, Seven Municipalities and Monte Grappa in six richly illustrated chapters.
