Description

Even if you're out winter trekking or on an expedition, you don't have to sacrifice comfort with the Ascent -9 Down sleeping bag from Sea to Summit. Thanks to its rectangular cut, which tapers towards the bottom, it offers more space than classic mummy sleeping bags, but strikes the right balance between comfort and weight. This alone, as well as its clever design and practical details, makes it a great winter sleeping bag that will keep you comfortable even in sub-zero temperatures.
<p
The 3-zip system alone gives you all the options. In addition to the classic two-way zipper on the left, there is a second, half-length zipper on the right. This allows you to open the top of the Ascent-9, allowing more air to reach your body on warm days, while on cold mornings you can leave your feet in the sleeping bag while drinking coffee and still have your hands free. An additional zipper above the foot area allows it to be folded out into a large blanket. It can also be combined with the women's models made from the Altitude series.
To ensure optimum warmth, the comforters in the chest area have been kept long so that the down does not slip. The high-quality, RDS-certified duck down is also impregnated to ensure that the Ascent -9 sleeping bag will last even in damp conditions. 60% of the down is on the front side and 40% on the back side, which ensures optimum distribution of the insulation.
