Description

The Maestrale touring boot from Scarpa is your well-known all-rounder in a technically updated version. Its shell is now largely made from Pebax® Rnew material and therefore scores not only with precision and durability but also with an excellent carbon footprint. When manufacturing this recyclable material, emphasis is placed on low CO2 production and its raw material is based on renewable raw material sources.
<p

Few skis manage to reconcile the requirements of comfort and downhill performance with minimal weight like the Maestrale. It is particularly easy to use, even when wearing gloves. Three high-quality buckles allow you to make the adjustment exactly where you need it for optimum hold in the boot. Thanks to the power strap, that last bit of grip and power transmission is no longer a pipe dream when skiing downhill.
<p

The ascent mode gives you plenty of freedom of movement with a shaft rotation of 61°. In addition, opening and locking is done in seconds.
<p

The thermoformable inner boot is crucial for the fit, as it adapts very well to your foot and provides the necessary insulation, breathability and padding.

A Vibram outsole with a non-slip profile ensures perfect grip on walking surfaces. This means you can also tackle more demanding routes with excellent grip.
<p

The integrated Recco® reflector makes professional searches easier in an emergency.

Note: Information on sole length can be found in the table in the product image area.

Conclusion from Bergzeit tester Markus: The Scarpa Maestrale is also suitable for longer and more alpine climbs thanks to its great shaft flexibility and excellent sole construction. However, due to the shaft height, the sophisticated buckle construction and the comparatively high weight compared to ascent-oriented styles, the current version already tends to be more downhill-oriented.
