Especially since the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex lining ensures dry feet even in rain showers or when your path leads you through wet grass.</p><p>Good control is ensured by the close fit to the foot in conjunction with the long climbing lacing and the 3F system, which optimally stabilizes the sole, instep and heel for a slip-free fit.</p><p>In addition, the Wildfire Leather GTX also scores on longer routes with its relatively direct but pleasantly cushioning midsole. The approach-specific profiled Pomoca outsole with climbing zone also provides excellent grip on bare rock as well as on scree and softer ground.</p>
