RWK 1523 Chiemgauer Alpen - Reit im Winkl, Inzell

<p>The Chiemgau Alps are largely located in the Free State of Bavaria, but also extend to the federal states of Tyrol and Salzburg in Austria. At 1,961 m above sea level, the Sonntagshorn on the border between Bavaria and Salzburg is the highest peak in the mountain range, which is ideal for hiking and mountaineering. Views open up into the Bavarian lowlands and as far as the Alpine ridge. There is something for every taste here: From easy routes on foot or by bike in the valleys and around Lake Chiemsee to challenging mountain routes. But the Berchtesgadener Land region in the south-eastern corner of Germany also impresses with idyllic hiking trails and varied mountain bike tours.</p> <p
