<p>The region south of the Bavarian capital has something for everyone: the cycle paths in the Bavarian Oberland sometimes lead right through the hilly, wooded foothills of the Alps and require a good level of fitness. Unique panoramic views and stops at alpine lakes make up for the effort. Some of the varied routes touch Munich directly and follow the Isar, others circle Lake Starnberg.
