<p>Mountain Equipment's Saltoro Jacket is a durable, comfortable hard shell jacket that combines two Gore-Tex® materials for an optimal weight/rustness ratio. Of course, the jacket is waterproof, windproof and breathable, and a PFC-free DWR impregnation allows the water to roll off.</p><p>The jacket's body is made of lightweight 2.5-layer Gore-Tex® Paclite® fabric, reinforced on the shoulders and arm exterior by an extra-strong Gore-Tex® hard shell material - so the Saltoro jacket can also perform long tours with a heavier backpack.&nbsp;</p><p>Well thought-out details make the Saltoro jacket suitable for mountain use: A helmet-compatible, adjustable hood protects the head. High zippered pockets hold handkerchiefs, mobile phones or cards. Zippers under the arms allow air in during strenuous passages. Of course, the arm cuffs and hem can be adapted to the wearer.</p>
