Smarter Belay Package

<p>The Smarter Belay Package from Mammut consists of the Smart 2.0 safety device, the Smarter supplement for the device and the Smart HMS karabiner.</p><p>The Smart 2.0 backup device is a further enhancement of the Smarts released in 2009. It works basically according to the tuber principle. Due to the special geometry and an improved friction insert, however, it offers a greater safety margin than a normal tuber.</p><p>In order to further increase the safety reserves, the Smarter supplement was developed for the Smart 2.0. It eliminates the possibility of the safety rope being guided incorrectly. This makes the Smarter particularly suitable for children and beginners.&nbsp;</p><p>The Smart HMS karabiner is included in the set for a stable connection to the climbing harness. This offers a safety lock that prevents the karabiner from twisting in the belay loop. In the same way, it can only be closed if the karabiner is firmly screwed into place. It can therefore no longer be left open unintentionally.</p>
