Description

The Remora HV Tokyo Edition climbing shoes from Mad Rock are a stylish special edition of the classic soft-slipper Remora: similar in features to the regular Remora, but in deep black with golden details - a little greeting to Olympia 2020.

With a strong pre-tension, slightly asymmetric lasts and only little down-turn, the slipper is great fun indoors, bouldering or even in at the crag.

The synthetic upper material is comfortable to wear and offers enough support for the foot. Thanks to the attached power patch on the top of the toe box, the Remora provides support for toe hooks, and the soft midsole makes the shoe precise and sensitive.

Mad Rock has worked hard on its rubber compound over the past few years: the Science Friction 3.0 Rubber in 4.2 mm thickness is particularly durable and sticky, so you'll find the necessary friction on greasy footholds. The special R2 Science Friction edge rubber counteracts scooping up, i.e. the detachment of the sole from the upper material.

All in all, the Remora HV Tokyo Edition climbing shoes are great for those who are looking for a not too ambitious slipper that can be put on and taken off quickly during training and still offer a snug fit.
