<p>The Hoka Clifton 9 GTX are running shoes made from the Hoka-typical combination of excellent cushioning and minimal weight for cold, wet weather and when you're out and about on roads and paved paths. The GTX version also scores points with the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane - a very useful extra, especially in winter. The high-end running shoe is a constantly optimized classic in the Hoka range and is now in its 9th edition.</p> <p <p>With only a few changes, the identity of the predecessor has been retained: you continue to run on the wide, now even lighter and yet fatter EVA midsole with Early Meta-Rocker, which provides an incomparably dynamic yet light running feel on hard surfaces and easy trails.<br>This makes the Clifton 9 GTX suitable for both short and very long distances, regardless of whether you are running at maximum speed or at a leisurely recovery pace.</p> <p <p>Small innovations concern the overall very soft, elastic upper material with targeted reinforcements for improved adaptation in the midfoot area. A striking feature is the heel tab, which enables smooth entry without the shaft edge folding in. Understated optimizations have also been made to the outsole design.
