Windsack

<p>Hilleberg's Windsack was originally designed as an emergency shelter for three people, but is so practical that it is often used by climbers, skiers and backpackers in less-than-life-threatening situations. For a quick wind shelter simply use the corner loops of the Windsack. For true protection from the elements spread the Windsack out, get inside, and wait out the storm (note: choosing a wind-protected area or digging into the snow makes being inside much more comfortable). Once inside, you can rest, cook, change clothes, take care of injuries, etc. The Windsack is equipped with a waterproof back and breathable front, a zippered opening, and a drawstring, making it a great sleeping bag cover for tent-less camping. The integrated safety line ensures that the Windsack does not blow away when exiting it in a storm. And the four corner loops allow it to be anchored when in exposed terrain. The zipper allows for multiple openings, to be used as ""head holes"" or vents as needed. Thanks to the breathable front and waterproof back, the Windsack is also a good snow cave liner.
