Description

The patented Bivanorak was originally conceived as a piece of survival equipment for the Swedish air force. In its civilian form the long rain coat/bivy sack weighs only 650g and can be used as protection form the elements in nearly any situation. It is made from a light-weight but durable fabric with a breathable PU-coating and taped seams.

Der The Bivanorak features a long and wide cut to accommodate both a sleeping bag and pad underneath it. The bottom hem and cuffs can be cinched to keep precious warmth inside,
and snow and rain out. The long front zipper makes taking the coat on and off a breeze. The hood is wide enough to fit around a sleeping bag's headpiece, but can be cinched snugly around the wearer's head as well.
The Bivanorak can of course be worn as a rain coat as well. The long hem simply needs to be pulled up to the desired height and then cinched with the drawstring. Bonus: Small to medium-sized backpacks fit comfortably under the coat.

Weight: 580g | Measurements: 240cm long, 86cm wide | Material: waterproof Ripstop Nylon, breathable (3.000mm / 30kPa), green
