<p>Compared to the 1st generation of the Apex, Coros has turned all the knobs on the Apex 2 GPS watch. The result: a technical, high-performance powerhouse with a lightweight but robust design. <p>The battery is particularly striking. In the latest version, the runtime adds another 80% to the already robust battery of the previous model. The optical sensor for heart rate measurement on the wrist has also been further improved and now spits out even more accurate values. The third major change relates to a 50% more powerful antenna, which delivers signals from all five major satellite systems for the most precise data. <p>With titanium lenses, sapphire crystal, a grade 5 titanium alloy with PVD coating on the frame and a nylon strap, the Apex 2 has an extremely high-quality finish, yet remains comfortable and lightweight. 8GB of internal memory is available for your training data, as well as music that you can play with a Bluetooth headset.</p> <p <p>Thanks to the barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, thermometer, pulse oximeter and electrocardiogram sensor (ECG), all your data is tracked during training, every day and at night. So you always get the best possible picture of your training status, your performance improvements and your recovery. In the EvoLap of the Coros app, you can evaluate all values in a clear overview. You can also create training plans there or download ready-made plans to synchronize them with the watch. <p>Of course, all possible profiles for a wide range of sports are available on the Apex 2. And of course, the watch is also compatible with popular training apps (Strava and others). You can also control your action cam via the watch. With its touchscreen, buttons that are excellent to use even when wearing gloves and a digital crown, you can easily navigate through the menus on the go.
