<p>The men's Vertex Alpine GTX by Arcteryx is a lightweight and particularly agile approach shoe. Its alpine focus offers several advantages for technical trails and Via Ferrata. This lightweight, low-cut shoe skilfully combines robustness, protection, comfort, and grip.<br>Thanks to the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex&reg; membrane, the &lsquo;GTX&rsquo; version is ideal in chilly temperatures or at corresponding altitudes and in wet and cold conditions.<br>The single-layer mesh upper material is made from 100% recycled polyester and offers well-known advantages: fast-drying, flexible, durable, and breathable. The upper optimally supports the functionality of the membrane. Targeted reinforcements at the heel and toe cap, as well as a TPU film for excellent abrasion protection, help with the latter point.<br>A comfortable fit, balanced and powerful midsole cushioning, and a cleverly designed lacing system ensure that you can still wear the Vertex Alpine GTX comfortably even after many kilometers and adjust it well while on the move.<br>You'll also be safe and efficient on the trail thanks to the highly non-slip and abrasion-resistant Vibram&reg; Megagrip outsole, which is beyond reproach.
