Description

The "Lake Garda South East Monte Baldo" mountain bike region stretches from Malcesine in the north to Peschiera in the south. The southern foothills of the Monte Baldo mountain ridge in particular offer an impressive variety of landscapes. The plateau south of Caprino Veronese is characterized by rolling hills, Mediterranean flair and the wine-growing area around Bardolino. Due to the mild Mediterranean climate on Lake Garda, routes are possible all year round.

The south-east of Lake Garda is not as well-known and less frequented as a mountain bike region as the northern part of Lake Garda. However, there are also a variety of routes in the south of Lake Garda, ranging from easy tours on beautifully laid out cycle paths to extremely challenging single trails. This tour guide describes the most beautiful mountain bike tours between Malcesine, Peschiera, Garda, Affi and Ferrara di Monte Baldo.

The tour guide "Lake Garda Southeast - Monte Baldo" contains 41 routes with detailed descriptions, photos, map sections, elevation profiles and GPS data.

On the first few pages, the reader is given an overview of the routes on offer (overview map, list of routes with: Difficulty, route length, travel time, altitude meters). Each route is described with its own tour character. The "Family-friendly" section is also included. The route descriptions with the corresponding route symbols have been created with plenty of detail. It's fun to leaf through the book, as all the routes are illustrated with plenty of photos of the tour, giving you an immediate impression of the tour.

Livened up by lots of full-page photos and a beautiful, appealing layout, the guide really makes you want to "go on tour".

To help you find your way "on the go", there is a tour map for each tour to take with you. The enclosed CD contains all GPS tracks (gpx) of the routes, as well as KML files for viewing in Google Earth. The gpx files can be loaded onto a GPS device using simple software.

The bike tours meet every requirement, because both the ambitious mountain biker and the comfy rider can find their "dream tour".
